So Michael Bay has announced he is rebooting Friday 13th. If you’re rolling your eyes and thinking “old news” think again. Apparently he is rebooting the failed reboot from a couple years back. Directed by Marcus Nispel who also helmed the actually not too bad Texas Chainsaw reboot. The last Friday 13th reboot was a sleek looking but yawn inducing mess. Now Bay is giving it one more shot.
My question along with every other remake-reboot-sequel-prequel is why? Is anyone actually interested in this or any remake?
Personally I’m fed up, to quote an internet personality Robert Walker “they’re not destroying our childhoods, they’re making our adulthoods boring” I couldn’t agree more.
