Elizabeth Olsen (Oldboy, Kill Your Darlings) has been confirmed as the latest addition to the Marvel universe as Scarlet Witch – the ‘nexus’ who can communicate with all manner of paranormal beings and alternate universes.
Whether or not her character will stay true to the comic book mythology remains to be seen as those rights reside with rival studio Fox.
With James Spader being cast as the big bad, Ultron all the major pieces seem to be in place for Whedon to try and match the success of Avengers Assemble.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Directed by Joss Whedon is due for release on May 1 2015
